Children International is a humanitarian organization that focuses on helping underprivileged, disadvantaged, and impoverished children. Children International has care centers worldwide that provide healthcare and educational programs to deprived children.

The Impact of Children International
Over the last 80 years, Children International has helped more than a million children. The organization has 67 community centers spread across ten countries worldwide.
About a billion children globally are multidimensionally poor, and an additional 150 million have been pushed to poverty due to COVID-19. Poverty, inadequate nutrition, and lack of education can adversely affect children’s’ well-being and brain development.
Children International’s programs overcome these hurdles by focusing on four key outcomes:

1. Health
   Children born in poverty are prone to sickness, malnutrition, poor dental hygiene, unsafe sanitation, and mediocre physical development. Children International helps children by ensuring proper healthcare and developing healthy habits.
2. Education
   Children in disadvantaged communities don’t have access to proper educational resources, such as books, teachers, uniforms, and the like. Many parents are even forced to pull their children out of school due to financial issues.
   Children International addresses this issue by providing children with complete education programs from kindergarten to high school. The organization ensures access to good quality teachers, learning spaces, and modern-day education technologies like computers.
3. Empowerment
   Deprived children don’t have a vision for the future. They’re not aware of the opportunities, and it’s difficult for them to plan what they want to do in their life.
   Children International empowers children by educating them about the opportunities they can explore. The organization helps children develop their leadership skills and understand their social responsibilities.
4. Employment
   Disadvantaged children often have a hard time finding employment. Due to the lack of education and proper skill development, these children don’t get ample work and employment opportunities.
