Houston Tech Rodeo 2020

What’s common between Houston Tech Rodeo and Kanexon? Both launched in 2020 in Houston, a Diverse city, also known as the Culinary and Cultural Capital of the South because of its diversity.

The Tech Rodeo was hosted by Houston Exponential, an organization dedicated to accelerating the growth of Houston’s innovation ecosystem. The idea was to host startup focused events on the sideline of Houston Rodeo to bring thought leaders, innovators and experts on a platform to share ideas and spur innovation in the city. 

Although this was the first year and while CoronaVirus was shutting down large gatherings around the world, this mini-conference got a good response from the Houston Startup Community which is growing strong in the past few years. The panel discussions and knowledge sessions were very focused and effective.

For the Kanexon team, this was a good opportunity to network with so many people since we just launched our Mobile App in beta, just a few days back. The best part of the conference was the opportunity to meet with leading Angel Investor Jason Calacanis and we also won some amazing prices at the Houston Blockchain for Smartcities Hackathon. Well, thanks to Houston Exponential and ion Houston for putting together this awesome event. We will be looking forward to an even better and bigger HTX Tech Rodeo 2021. Till then, let’s keep working to make this world happier!
